  • Minimum qualification requirement is Bachelor’s degree in engineering courses.

  • GRE score is not considered for the evaluation.

  • M.Sc program:
    Minimum 18 courses (6 semester courses) or equivalent is required and also ENG 600 with thesis
    An additional 2 semester courses or equivalent is required in additional areas.

  • M.Eng program:
    Minimum 24 courses (8 graduate courses) or equivalent is required, of which 15(5 courses) must be in a major field along with a project.An additional 6 semester courses or equivalent is required in additional areas.If a higher level of undergraduate degree is not provided, the applicant should require another 3 courses.No other second language is required other than English.

Eligibility Requirements

If you want to take admission in MBA programs, you must fulfill the eligibility criterion which is mentioned below:

  • The minimum admission requirement for MBA program (Executive MBA) is an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta with an admission Academic record of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale or an equivalent degree from another recognized institution.

  • Proof of English Language Proficiency is required.

  • Applicants are required to submit their GMAT scores to be eligible for the Master’s program.

  • Executive MBA:

  • Working experience of at least seven years is required for Executive MBA programs.

  • The following courses are required of first-year Fine Arts students: ART 630, ART 612/613 (Painting) or 622/623 (Printmaking) or 640/641 n (Drawing/Intermedia) or 662/6 (Sculpture)

  • Seminar courses on history of art, design, and visual culture.

  • Studio courses of the second term may be repeated with consent.

  • After completing all the requirements, students need to make a presentation of their Master's thesis.

  • Language requirement is not necessary for the degree.

  • A student time period for completing the degree is two academic years.
