Department Offered at SIT

1. Computer Science and Engineering
   Department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree in B.tech (Computer) with intake capacity of 60 students.
   Department has a high configuration and latest software systems required for teaching and research programmes.
   The department strives to impart quality education for undergraduate students through broad-minded faculty members.
   Also, it provides renowned placements with attractive salary package.
   The department upbrings the latest curriculum involving cloud computing, cybersecurity, software quality, artificial intelligence and many more.

2. Electronics and Telecommunication
   Department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree in B.tech (E&TC) with intake capacity of 120 students.
   The department provides project-based teaching to achieve industrial thesis in their respective career.
   The department has well-developed laboratories, software tools like LABTOOLS, MATLAB etc.
   E&TC department at SIT is undertaken by faculty and student exchange programs for participation in ongoing training programs.

3. Mechanical Engineering
   Department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree in B.tech (Mechanical) with intake capacity of 60 students.
   The department produces quality professionals in different emerging areas by establishing institute-industry relationships.
   The faculty in the mechanical engineering department are highly-experienced provides the teaching in various specialization like CAD, CAM, Manufacturing technology, FEM and operations management.

4. Civil Engineering
   Department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree in B.tech (Civil) with intake capacity of 60 students.
   The civil engineering department has recruited highly experienced and qualified faculty for producing skilled professionals with a broader domain of knowledge.

5. Information technology
   Department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree in B.tech (IT) with intake capacity of 60 students.
   The department is affiliated with computer engineering to study computer software and application.

Internships at SIT

• The duration of the Internship program is about six months.

• The students are undertaken for live industrial projects and also given the grades for the same.

• The faculty mentor is provided to students for evaluating the working skills during the period of internships.

• At the end of the Internship, there is a joint evaluation of a student conducted by either institute or industry.

Objectives :

• To provide real-life industrial working exposure and practical aspects of the study.

• To inculcate problem-solving skills by establishing the systematic and methodological approach among the students.

• To give a beneficial training from the industry experts while working on projects.

Admission Process at Symbiosis Institute of Technology:

Admission through SIT EEE entrance exam

• If the candidate wants to apply through SIT entrance exam then he/she will have to register themselves for SIT-EEE examination with a fee of Rs.1750

• The candidate needs to report to the Institute for admission round depend on SIT EEE merit.

• The candidate can apply for SIT EEE entrance exam on website https://www.set.-testorg/

Admission through JEE Main/CET entrance exam

• If the candidate wants to apply through JEE Main/CET entrance exam then he/she needs to apply online by filling the online application form with a payment of Rs. 750

• The candidate needs to report to the Institute for admission round depend on JEE Main/MHT-CET merit.
