Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be an Indian National.

• Candidates should clear HSC examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.

• The candidates must have secured 50% marks in HSC subjects for general category and 45% marks for reserved category students.

• The candidates from India and outside India are eligible to apply for management quota depend on the ALL India Rank obtained in JEE (main).

Admission Process

Step 1: Application forms will be opened in the month of June.

Step 2: All the students need to follow the link of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Step 3: Candidates should submit the applications on respective dates as mentioned on the DTE website.

Step 4: After the display of the final merit list, the respective institutes are allotted to eligible candidates.

Step 5: 70% seats reserved for Maharashtra State Quota Candidates.

Departments Offered at MITCOE

Computer Engineering

• The department of computer engineering offers an undergraduate degree that covers the entire curriculum in computing and technology.

• Computer department has Intake capacity of 120 students.

• The academic curriculum is designed to understand the potential of computing, technology, algorithms, software, and networks.

• Programs take 4 years with a broad-minded and design-oriented approach to solve the engineering problems.

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

• The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was established 2001, with the approval of All India Council of Technical Education.

• Department is enclosed with dedicated faculty members, outstanding infrastructure to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to students.

• The department is equipped with high upgraded libraries to enhance the high standard of education.

• The Department is affiliated with Ph.D. research center of Pune university.

Information Technology

• Department of Information Technology was established in 2001, which offers the 4-year undergraduate program with an intake capacity of 180 students.

Mechanical Engineering

• At MITCOE, the department of mechanical engineering offers the 4-year undergraduate degree for students which is the largest department in terms of students, faculty members, staff.

• The department has got accreditation by National Board of Accreditation.

• The department has a CAD-CAM center, 13 laboratories, 3 computer labs and workshop with contemporary equipment.

• The department also offered the postgraduate course in Heat Power Engineering since June 2011.

• The intake capacity of students for an undergraduate course is 120 for 1st shift and 60 for 2nd shift students.

Civil Engineering

• Department of Civil Engineering was established at MITCOE in the year of 2012-13 which offers the 4-year undergraduate degree with an intake capacity of 60 students.

• The department has well-qualified and dedicated faculty who assigned the structure of academic curriculum by considering structural analysis and environmental factors as per AICTE norms.

• The departments also published the Journals and papers in national and international conferences.

Core Engineering and Engineering Science

• The department of Core Engineering and Engineering Science is the 1st year engineering course leads to a strong foundation in applied sciences and engineering practices.
