Eligibility Criteria ( for Engineering )

Students can get direct admission here by completing the requirements of undergraduate courses:

All Engineering courses -

• A Level ABB is required for admission.

• Required subjects include A level Mathematics and a Physical Science, for example- Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Design & Technology or Further Mathematics subjects.

• GCSE Minimum of 4 GCSEs at B grade or 5 to include Mathematics subject at B grade or 6, and GCSE English language at C grade or 4.

• Overall IELTS scores of 6.5 with at least 5.5 scores in each component.

• Physical sciences include many subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Design Technology etc.

International baccalaureate overall 32 points with 16 points from the 3 higher level subjects including either -

• Mathematics HL grade 6 + 6 grade in HL Physical Sciences

• Mathematics HL grade 6 + 6 grade in 2 SL Physical Sciences

• Mathematics SL grade 7 + HL 6 grade in a Physical Sciences

All candidates must be aware of admission requirements for admission in Law courses:

• A-Level AAB is required by the students for admission.

• The candidates must score overall 6.5 scores in the IELTS examination with at least 5.5 scores in each component.

• International baccalaureate overall 35 points with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects.

• BTEC Distinction, Distinction, Distinction.

Business Administration

Eligibility Criteria ( for MBA Courses )

1. MBA

• The students must have a 2:1 Hons degree (UK or equivalent) in any subject.

• The candidates willing to study in Uk must have a valid passport for admission.

• The students must provide English language qualifications dependent upon nationality and where they have studied previously.

• The students require an IELTS test with at least 7.0 and a minimum of 6.0 in each element of the test.

The students must also provide as part of application form-

• A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience since graduation, and to evidence that the students need to provide a current resume copy with details of professional experience and achievements till the date, the students with strong business experience and with managerial responsibilities are given preference. (Dates of employment and job titles on Resume)

• 2 good references - one reference from the current employer and the other from the person who can comment on academic ability.

• Detailed personal statement (Minimum 500 words).

• A scheduled interview with a member of Lancaster's admissions team.

• The students must provide one of the following- admissions essay or GMAT scores (580 scores and 4.0/6.0 in the analytical writing assessment). GRE is considered on a case by case basis, details regarding the essay provided with the offer.
