Eligibility Criteria at Baltic International Academy

Students must fit into the below mentioned eligibility criteria to take admission to Baltic International Academy

• To get admission to the college students must have completed secondary certification exams (for bachelors courses) and a bachelor’s degree completion certificate (for master’s degree programs).

• The students must have completed 10+2 with good marks to enrol themselves.

• The students must have completed a bachelor’s degree with good scores.

• The applicants should apply for the graduate programs with a valid passport.

• Students or applicants must have cleared English proficiency exams such as TOEFL or IELTS for admission to different programmes at this college.

• If a student does not have an international English language certification then he/she must have to pass the Internal English language test carried out by the Academy.

Admission Process</b>

Students are required to follow the below given admission process for admission into Baltic International Acad

Step 1: Applicants should do document submission. Documents can be submitted in Admission committee, or students can send them in scan version to [email protected].

Step 2: Applicants should pay the Application fee:
150 EUR for Applicants from Ukraine and Georgia and CIS countries; 250 EUR – for citizens for other countries, except EU/EEA.
The registration fee will be 100 EUR / 200 EUR, if the entrant provides the positive decision of AIC.
Applicants please note that the registration fee will not be paid back!

Step 3: Then verification of the education documents at the Academic Information Center (AiC) in Latvia will be done. This process can take up to four months.

Step 4: Applicants are then required to pay the Tuition fee.

Step 5: Applicants will then have to sign an Execution of an agreement.

Step 6: Students can then apply for the visa. ( short-terms stay visa (for 90 days)).

Step 7: Applicants can then book a flight and land in Latvia.

Step 8: An application can be made by them for a temporary residence permit, which will be then processed.

Documents of students’ previous education such as:

• Certified copy of Secondary school diploma (or degree) with transcript of records.

• Certified copies of University diploma (or degree) with diploma supplement.

• Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS whatever is needed).

• Note: students without certificates won’t be accepted.

Required documents -

• Copy of a registration.

• Copy of passport (having validity)

• Four passport-size colored photos (3×4)

• Copy of the document, confirming name/last name change (if it’s necessary)

• Copy of required payments (application fee and tuition fee)

• Motivation letter (for Master degree students)

Once applicants have made decision about the study programme they want to apply for they should collect following necessary documents:

• Passport (having validity)

• Certificate of Residence (proof)

• Documents of previous education: the Secondary school certificates/transcripts/the list of exams; the Recognized University diploma/certificates/transcripts – (for Master’s Degree and PhD Degree Programmes)

• International English proficiency certificate Upper-Intermediate B2 (5.5 with 5.5 or above in each band).

• 4 colored photos (35 x 45 mm)

• Medical certificate of the student confirming the ability to study in EU Universities

• The most important is Chest X-ray radiograph and radiologist’s written report

• Receipts of Application and tuition fees payments

• the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC, valid for 6 months from the date of issue)Motivation letter and Curriculum Vitae – for Master’s and PhD Degree programmes; work reference letters (if available) – for Master’s Degree and PhD Degree programmes
